Our Perth home is located in the Creative Exchange, Stormont Street. Although we haven't been able to occupy the space for much of the past year, we were delighted to hear that the project to transform the former St John’s School into a ‘creative hub’ has recently been recognised as the Regeneration Project of the Year 2021 at the Scottish Property Awards.

The Creative Exchange is a £4.5m partnership project between Wasps, and Perth and Kinross Council. It is home for artists, makers and creative industry professionals. The building opened to tenants in October 2019 and we took up residence at the beginning of February 2020, with the official opening taking place just one month before lockdown.
“We were attracted by the prospect of a collaborative and creative community working together in a convenient location and benefitting from great local infrastructure. Having the North inch close by is fantastic and with the building’s pet-friendly policy, it’s ideal when you’ve brought your dog to work as you can pop out for regular walks in gorgeous parkland!” Debbie Hutchison, Marketing Director, The Malting House
The whole building is light, spacious and airy and the sympathetic refurbishment has retained the best of the period features, including an old blackboard in the foyer from the time it was a school. However, there are also plenty of modern additions such as great Wi-Fi and lots of flexible workspace and meeting rooms. We are also looking forward to the new café opening soon too!
Sharing the building with other creative tenants also means there are regular exhibitions, lovely artwork on the walls and a library of art books in the foyer.
We can’t wait to get back into the Creative Exchange and start meeting our clients face to face once again!
